China's apparel exports increased in value by 7.05 per cent to $ 167.876 billion in 2022, but this was due to a rise in per unit price rather than an increase in volume. Similarly, in 2021, due to the rising unit price, clothing exports increased by 25.80% to US $156.764 billion. The average unit price of Chinese apparel exports declined until 2020.

Despite the economic slowdown and restrictions from the United States, China's clothing exports increased by 7.05% in 2022, reaching 167.876 billion US dollars. However, the increase in this value was due to a rise in the unit price of this part, from $ 3.88 in 2021 to $ 4.24 in 2022, up by 3.88%. Therefore, the increase in value does not reflect an increase in clothing exports. China's clothing exports increased from 156.764 billion dollars in 2021 to 2022.

In 2021, China's clothing exports also increased, and the export value increased from 25.80 billion dollars in 2020 to 156.764 bil—lion dollars, an increase of 124.654%. However, the increase in this value is also due to an increase in unit price, which rose from $ 12.13 in 2020 to $ 3.88 in 2021, an increase of 3.46%.

The average unit price of China's clothing exports has been declining until 2020, and it has dropped by 3.08% to 3.46 USD in 2020. Similarly, the unit price dropped to 3.56 dollars and 3.64 dollars in 2019 and 2018 respectively.
