Da Peng-yu,Liu Hong-xu(25)

In order to effectively govern TAR,the central government has made it clear that equivalent aid is required.Social work institutions’ creation of social work stations is a new type of “intellectual assistance”.By examining how social work institution D in Hunan Province participated in the construction of township social work stations in N District,Shannan City,TAR,it is found that the social work institutions will push the mature practical experience of the support areas to the recipient areas horizontally, expand the breadth of services while also expanding the depth of interagency cooperation.

A “community of action” based on common interests and a “community of interests” relationship have emerged between the social work institutions of the recipient government and those of the counterpart government as a result of the political and social interaction that supports participatory cooperation. This has made it possible to establish win-win collaboration in the delivery of crucial public services,as well as to effectively promote the growth of grassroots government that is focused on providing services and to increase the efficacy of grassroots governance in the regions that are being served.

Sun Qi(47)

Gorkha officials are mentioned frequently in Qing Dynasty Chinese literature, but little textual analysis has been done on them thus far, making many of the references ambiguous or even misinterpreted. This study looks at the Gurkha official in Qing Dynasty Chinese records in an effort to correct misunderstandings and improve their roles. It accomplishes this by utilizing multilingual materials, especially the original Gurkha archives.

AnAnalysisofSino-BritishNegotiationsonTibetAftertheSecondKham-TibetConflict(1919-1921)

Zhu Ming-jie(57)

The talks between China and the British regarding the issues in the region during the Second Kham-Tibet Conflict(1919-1921) were one of China’s rare diplomatic victories on the region’s issues, given that Tibet faced foreign invasion in modern times and successfully defended national sovereignty. It is valuable to provide an overview of this encounter. This study concludes that Chinese diplomats used all available tools to negotiate well, demonstrating excellent diplomatic skills and ultimately foiling British attempts to reopen negotiations in an attempt to force China to recognize the Treaty of Simla. It does this by comparing the Chinese public records with the archives of the British Foreign Office and the Indian Office.

Thus, this event’s historical significance won’t be overstated beyond what the event itself can reveal, and reinterpreting and clarifying it will undoubtedly improve historical research on the local linkages between Tibet and the motherland.

AnAnalysisofLionDesignsonAntiqueTibetanGoldandSilverArtifacts

Zhang Da-li(69)

The quantity of Tibetan gold and silver products and decorations is noteworthy, having remained unearthed by archaeological digs in the Tibet Autonomous Region,Qinghai, and other locations,as well as by private persons or museums.Antique Tibetan gold and silver goods are now one of the tangible resources used to research Tubo’s social history and cultural perspective.

This study compares the lion patterns found in various cultures with the ones found in Tibetan gold and silver artifacts and ornaments. It finds that the lion patterns on Tibetan gold and silver artifacts and ornaments draw inspiration from the artistic expressions and styles of the Tang Dynasty,Sassanid Persia in West Asia, and Sogdian culture in Central Asia, indicating a relatively clear artistic evolution.

The distinctive style that resulted is another illustration of the qualities of the varied aesthetic art of Tubo. However, the Tibetan artisans did not replicate all of the aforementioned styles while they were creating them;instead, they combined a number of lion patterns on the Tibetan gold and silver goods.

AnInvestigationinto“Gesar”onThe“LangFamilySpiritRhinocerosTreasureScroll”

Gesang Yuzhen,Manxiu Renqingdaoji(91)

The “Lang Family Spirit Rhinoceros Treasure Scroll” documents the five meetings between Jang Qiu Zhegui(968-1076) and King Ling Gesar(the eight central figures in “Gesar”).It also details the fact that King Ling Gesar(1002-1082) had no heirs. The subsequent volume documents the relationships between the Lingguo tribes of the Gesar, specifically the Lingtshang,Dengma, and Guanjue tribes, and the Phazhu regime during Situ Jangqiu Gyaltsen(1302-1364).

Moreover, the following publications-“Biography of King Gyantse”,“Han-Tibetan History Collection”,“Luorong Historical Books”, and “Sage’s Banquet”-have independently verified these historical documents. They have also been mentioned in official histories such as the “Guoluo Family”,“History of Tubo Dynasties”,“History of Karma Gangcang”,“History of Religion of Successive Dynasties”,“History of Amdo Political and Religious History”,and “Historical Atlas of China” since the Tang and Song dynasties.

From the perspective of the Chinese nation’s sense of community,Chinese literature should be combined with the historical materials of ethnic minority.Despite the religious veil, the historical accounts of “Gesar” contained in the “Lang Clan Genealogy Spirit Rhinoceros Treasure Scroll” are trustworthy and deserving of additional study to hasten the construction of the “Lin Tshong Family Pedigree”.

ResearchToPromotetheTibetAutonomousRegions(TAR)’sHigh-QualityEconomicDevelopmentonthePlateau

Xu Wu-da,Jiu Mao-cuo(114)

The enduring theme of our times is high-quality development.Three distinct phases of development have occurred in TAR’s economy and society after the Peaceful Liberation:steady progress to recovery, fast development to leapfrog development, and considerable development to high-quality development.A set of indicators for high-quality economic development on the plateau has been created utilizing the five dimensions of the new idea of development.

The entropy value approach was employed to assess the degree of high-quality development between 2011 and 2021.Therefore,we can draw the conclusion that,in order to establish a premier region for fast and steady economic development on the plateau,we must address problems like uneven and insufficient growth from the perspectives of developmental patterns, industrial systems, rural revitalization, people’s well-being,and driving forces. We have to clear the path for better development that recognizes the reality in TAR.

AnalyzingtheTibetAutonomousRegion(TAR)’sIndustrialSector’sEcologicaltransformationinintheFrameworkofEcologicalCivilization:ACaseStudyofLhasaCity

Dong Ya-ning,Lv Peng(128)

The creation of a truly wonderful TAR and the advancement of ecological civilization both depend on the industrial-ecological transformation. It is also a clear choice for TAR to put the new development concept into practice and move quickly to create a national ecological civilization highland.Lhasa City wants to create a plateau green ecological industry system in order to accomplish industrial ecological transformation. The “ecological industry system-spatial layout system-industrial chain system” should be built in accordance with a logical framework and basic principles in order to achieve this.

Encouragement is needed for the current plateau industrial system to go through an ecological transformation. It is necessary to rethink the green eco-industries’ spatial layout system on the plateau and make every effort to establish a chain system of green eco-industries that extends throughout the area.

AnExaminationoftheInteractionsBetweenRuralandUrbanAreasandHowTheycanSupportEachOtherinaForestAreaintheSoutheastoftheTibetAutonomousRegion(TAR):AnAnalysisoftheIndustrialRevivalinBomiCounty’sKagnamVillage

Caixiang Duojie(142)

As of right now,TAR has made significant strides toward the integration of rural and urban areas as well as their mutual promotion. This is shown by the overall level of infrastructure and public service integration and equality in rural areas,as well as the growth of integrated urban and rural industries.Yet,there is still a substantial disparity in the degree of regional development and income between urban and rural areas,in TAR where the number of rural residents exceeds the number of urban residents.

The issues of insufficient rural development and uneven urban-rural growth remain significant worries. To promote integrated urban-rural growth,we need to rethink city planning in terms of resource endowments and regional variances. We need to build village relationships, prioritize agricultural and rural development, allow for the two-way flow of beneficial resources, and gradually move toward an organized and standardized approach to integrated urban-rural development.
